Alex is a Principal at Forerunner, where he partners with early and growth-stage companies solving real problems for everyday Americans. Whether it’s accessing medical care, dealing with legal issues, managing money, maintaining a home, or starting a solo practice, he works with founders to build category-defining brands that address consumers' unchanging needs in new and better ways.
Before Forerunner, Alex advised some of the world’s largest private equity firms on energy and climate issues. He studied Economics at Claremont McKenna College, where he took time off to help launch Orderly Health — a venture-backed technology platform that helped people navigate health insurance using natural language.
