The system has roughly 500,000 licensed behavioral health providers against a population of 56 million actively seeking therapy. Slingshot's approach — a purpose-built foundation model for psychology, powering Ash, its AI for therapeutic support — is designed to close that gap by bringing high-quality mental health care to the moments that matter.
