Jennifer Mariska

Biography

Jennifer Mariska is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Forerunner Ventures, which she joined in 2017. She leads the operational backbone of the firm — finance, fund operations, and LP relations — partnering closely with the investment team to build the infrastructure that lets Forerunner move with conviction and back the founders building for the modern consumer.

Jenn brings a builder's mindset to the work of running a firm, treating operations not as overhead but as a competitive edge: the systems, rigor, and trust that let great investing happen. Across her tenure she has helped scale Forerunner and shape its strategy, from fundraising to team development, and she is the steady counterpart the firm's limited partners rely on — anchoring the long-term relationships that hold across cycles. She also leads Forerunner's most important service-provider partnerships, working hand in hand with legal counsel and fund administration to keep execution best-in-class.

Before Forerunner, Jenn spent six years at Partners Group, the global private markets investment manager, where she led US Client Services across select private equity and real assets funds. She began her career at the wealth management firm Fisher Investments. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
